[On-site] Craft Beer for Fall: Moving Brewery Hosts ‘Tongyeong-ae Onna’ Along Cheonggyecheon
More than 100 craft beers from 16 breweries showcased.

Moving Brewery, which brings together craft beers from across South Korea through pop-up-style events, has set up a festive gathering in the heart of Seoul this time.
Moving Brewery is hosting “K-Local Brew Journey 2026, Moving Brewery by Tongyeong-ae Onna,” a regional tourism revitalization project jointly organized with Tongyeong City and the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam-do Office of the Korea Tourism Organization. The nine-day event runs from September 5 to 13 at the outdoor plaza of HiKR Ground along Cheonggyecheon in central Seoul.
Sixteen breweries from across the country are participating in the pop-up event. Travel content featuring Tongyeong and the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region is also being showcased.
More than 100 Korean Craft Beers
Visitors can sample more than 100 craft beers brewed by the 16 participating breweries, ranging from beers made with locally produced wheat, barley and regional specialties to award-winning beers from international beer competitions. Non-alcoholic craft cola is also available.
The event also offers visitors an opportunity to find beers that match their personal tastes by scanning a QR code with their smartphones. For this experience, Moving Brewery has launched a demo version of an AI-powered personalized web app.
The app asks seven questions in total. For example, users are asked to select their preferred flavor profile from options such as “refreshing and sweet,” “bitter with depth,” “tangy,” or “mild.” In one test, the app recommended “full-bodied, higher-ABV beers” and selected a stout-style beer from among products offered by the participating breweries.
During the event, visitors can also take part in a game in which they guess the names of participating regional breweries. Prizes include hotel stays and breakfast vouchers at Stanford Hotel Tongyeong.
Ham Min-hee, who is in charge of public relations at Moving Brewery, said, “This project was designed to give people an opportunity to enjoy craft beers from across the country in the heart of Seoul and, in turn, encourage them to travel to the regions to experience the beers where they are made.”
